The 2012 Infiniti FX has been unveiled.
Updates for the FX include a new front grille and bumper that bring it into line with Infiniti’s latest design language. Two new exterior colours – Iridium Blue and Graphite Shadow – are also available.
As before, FX37 models have a 316bhp 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine, the FX50 has a 385bhp 5.0-litre V8 petrol, and the FX30d has a 235bhp 3.0-litre V6 diesel.
GT and GT Premium trims get new alloys, while S models add smoked headlights and red 'S' badging, along with Rear Active Steering (with the exception of the FX37) and Continuous Damping Control.
All models have adaptive four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Two options are available – metallic paint at £760 and a multimedia pack at £2400.
A limited run of 200 FX ‘Vettel Versions’ – endorsed by Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel and powered by a 414bhp V8 – go on sale in 2013.
Prices for the 2012 FX range remain unchanged, and start at £46,750 for the FX37 GT.
