Tseng completes hat-trick of LPGA wins

(CNN) -- World No.1 Yani Tseng continued her current dominance of women's golf as she coasted to victory in the LPGA Thailand tournament at the Siam Country Club in Chonburi.

Tseng shot a final round 66 giving her a winning margin of five shots over America's Michelle Wie who could only manage a fourth round 70.

Korea's In-Kyung Kim, who was tied for second with Wie after round three, finished in third place.

The win is Tseng's third in as many weeks on the LPGA Tour, but the 22-year-old was modest in victory.

"I just tried my best and I know I had lots of confidence, but with all the great golfers out here, you never know until the last putt drops in. I really enjoyed the tournament this week," Tseng said, LPGA.com reported.

Meanwhile at the Avantha Masters in New Delhi, S S P Chowrasia claimed the second European Tour title of his career as he edged out England's Robert Coles.

Chowrasia landed the €300,000 ($410,000) first prize at the DLF Golf and Country Club with a final round 67 despite carding a double bogey six on the par three 16th hole.

Earlier, the 32-year-old had been in scintillating form bagging seven birdies -- four on the front nine, three on the back.

But the mistake at the 16th saw the Indian drop back into a tie for the lead with Coles, who was looking to claim his maiden European Tour title.

But the pressure finally told on the Englishman.

Birdie chances at the 15th and 17th holes went begging and were compounded when he contrived to bogey the last, to hand Chowrasia the title.

France's Gregory Havret finished third after posting a final round 68, while Robert-Jan Derksen from Netherlands finished fourth.

Overnight leader, Spain's Pablo Larrazabal followed up his third round 66 with a par round of 72 to claim fifth place.

At the Northern Trust Open, Australian Aaron Baddeley will take a one stroke lead going into Sunday's final round at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

A four-under opening nine set up a third round of 67 -- although a bogey six at the 11th hole spoiled an otherwise flawless round.

Looking to deny Baddeley his third U.S.PGA Tour title will be American Kevin Na and veteran Fred Couples who are a shot behind after third rounds of 67 and 70 respectively.

Three-times Major winner Vijay Singh is a shot further back in fourth place with America's Ryan Moore and Australian John Senden four shots off the lead in a tie for fifth.
